On the occasion of Dussehra, the entire nation is abuzz with vibes celebrating the festival which symbolizes the victory of good over evil. When we talk about Ramayan, Lord Ram, and Raavan, how can one not mention the movie Ramanad Sagar, which continues to hold a special place in everyone’s hearts? In today’s episode and on the occasion of the festival, we tell you about the time Govil opened up about his rivalry with Arvind Trivedi after the latter’s death.

In October 2021, Trivedi died of a heart attack. The actor later became ill for a long time due to age-related ailments. Later, mourning her death, Govil recounted her death and also talked about them arguing while shooting Sagar’s Ramayan.

In his interview after Arvind Trivedi’s death, Arun Govil spilled the beans on their rivalry and told Times Of India, “Ram and Raavan were the two strong characters in Ramayan along with Sita, but there was no competition or rivalry between us. He was a good gentleman, a professional, and a good actor. He was very good at what he did, and we never had any arguments or issues. It was a pleasure to work with him. I remember having dinner together and then hanging out at Umbergaon. I remember him as a Shiv bhakt and a simple person.”
