Ganapath Box Office Day 1 Advance Booking (Image Credit – Instagram)
Tiger Shroff’s big budget entertainer Ganapath is in theaters across the country. The film, which also stars Kriti Sanon and Amitabh Bachchan in the main roles, all eyes are on its performance at the Indian box office as the biggie has been making for a long time. This is what it was like to book in advance on the first day!
Directed by Queen and Super 30 star Vikas Bahl, the entertainer faced major hurdles due to COVID-19 and reached the theaters. As for the promotion, the film did not have that punch because it could not generate heat around it, however, the sales on the ground were good, with big cuts and posters placed outside the famous theaters in the big cities.
Yesterday, Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo hit the theaters, and it did surprisingly well in the Hindi belt. However, Ganapath has earned itself a good rating and can post a good number at the box office if it is well received by the audience. Going back to advance booking, the film has sold out the required tickets 1.20 million gross (excluding closed seats) for the first day before the first show.
After a slow start, Ganapath has seen a slight improvement in the last few hours, however, the number of advance bookings is low. Now, everything depends on word of mouth. If the audience response is positive, the box office will see a rise in the evening and night shows, which will help the film’s respectability on the first day.
Tiger Shroff’s last release, Heropanti 2, was a flop at the Indian box office, and with Ganapath, the actor looks to make a strong comeback. Let’s see how it goes at the ticket window.
Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon, who is currently riding high on her big win at the National Awards, recently opened up on Ganapath and shared how she got hurt while doing a scene in the movie. On Wednesday, he was in the national capital to promote the film along with Tiger Shroff. She looked beautiful in a short white dress and completed the look with matching thigh high boots.
Talking about her preparations, Kriti said, “My character Jassi uses nunchucks, which I don’t think anyone has done before. So to learn that, you have to make it a part of your body, so I started learning nine months before the shooting. It was tough.” . I tore up and cut my head and elbows all over the place.”
