Thalapathy Vijay Enters Top 10 Highest-grossing Indian Openers Ever By Leo Box Office ( Photo Credit – IMDb )

Thalapathy Vijay has changed his Beast avatar as his latest release, Leo, has started making records on the first day at the Box Office. The video collected 66 million net for India on the opening day, hitting it out of the park. With this opening, the film has already entered the list of highest openers in all of India!

The Tamil thriller directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj surpassed Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar’s 2.0 to grab the seventh spot on the list of India’s highest openers. 2.0 has been compiled 63 million on Day 1.

The collection includes collections in all languages, and with the seventh position, Thalapathy Vijay also crossed the opening numbers of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Hrithik Roshan’s War.

When Pathaan opened 57 million in all languages, War was collected 53.35 million on day 1. Now, and 66 million, Leo sits on top of these films. It also beat the Telugu language drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which released in 2019 and registered an opening of 52.50 million.

Thalapathy Vijay’s film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, collected Rs 66 crore and pushed Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy into the list of top ten all-India openers. The fight between Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff has now been pushed to number 10.

The video collected 2.85 million with the Hindi dub and securing the highest opening in Kollywood in Hindi, beating Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Ponniyin Selvan 2 directed by Mani Ratnam and Rajinikanth’s Jailer, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar.
