Shah Rukh Khan’s Dream For His Fans Outside Mannat Includes Not Charging Them To Dance (Photo -Instagram)
Shah Rukh Khan enjoys a huge fan following across the world. Be it his movies or his birthday; all of them are no less than festivals that are celebrated with all the enthusiasm. Apart from celebrating birthdays and Eid with family, SRK has also been following the tradition of celebrating with his fans in his own way. On his birthday on November 2, every year and on Eid, the ‘Jawan’ actor makes it a point to greet his fans on his way out by simply standing up and kissing them.
But do you know how SRK’s coming-of-age act to rock his fans started? Thank you, I thank Gauri Khan and her children for pushing her to do it. We recently found an old video of SRK speaking the same and revealing how much it means to him. Scroll down to find out.
In this old video, Shah Rukh Khan is heard saying, “My wife started making me do this with my kids. They said, ‘It’s really stupid, people keep waiting. You should pull them when you’re at home’. So I did. This is the closest everyone, who they don’t know me, they really see me. I don’t dress up for his event. I don’t give speeches. Maybe if 10 years go by, maybe I’ll start talking to people on a megaphone. If I had my choice, I’d start dancing here and let them have a good fun evening without charging them anything.”
In addition, “I plan to make a small place where they can see me better. Put on a little music, buy a little. So they go home with what happened to them.” Watch the video below:
Based on his comments, the user said, “SRK ko dekhne ke liye hi mumbai jana hai mujhe bas,” describing his experience another user wrote, “I remember my first time outside mannat on his birthday. He was very worried because there was no place to stop and people started going crazy. But when I saw him I was screaming and screaming and when everything was quiet I realized that my face was full of tears even though I was smiling the whole time! I will never forget it!”
A third wrote, “Imagine the frenzy where SRK will start dancing and talking to people outside Mannat.”
The fourth said, “You came to dance, maybe one day they will hang out again.”
On the work front, after the huge success of Pathaan and Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan is now gearing up for the release of Dunki, which will hit the big screens on Christmas, showing a box office clash with Prabhas’ Salaar. But before that his appearance in Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 is much awaited.
