Trademark Ryan Paevey
Hallmark star Ryan Paevey didn’t hold back when it came to reporting a prolific scammer impersonating him on X (formerly known as Twitter). He publicly criticized the account on Twitter with a series of scathing posts warning others not to be deceived.
“You suck there too,” he said as he confronted the cheater
Paevey didn’t mince his words when it came to confronting a scammer who was impersonating him and using the name “RyanPaeveyPage” on X. Later the account changed to At the time of publishing this article, the scammer’s account was still online.
On November 8, the account posted a photo of Paevey holding a guitar and wrote, “Need someone to sing to 🌹 I think that will be my crush 🥹.”
One fan, not knowing it wasn’t Paevey, replied: “I love a man who can play the guitar! <3 Any girl you play for would be lucky! Keep being creative! I love seeing what you do! xox"
But Paevey didn’t hold back when it came to holding the fraudster accountable. He initially replied a few times and the account later hid his messages.
Hiding my answers shows how bad you are at it. Imagine being so bad at everything in life that you resort to stealing, only to find out that you suck at it too. Pathetic.

Paevey then wrote: “Hiding my answers shows how bad you are at this. Imagine being so bad at everything in life that you resort to stealing, only to find out that you suck at it too. Pathetic.”
At one point, the impersonator account even had the nerve to write to Paevey on
Paevey simply replied, “Eat shit.”
“Can we just be friends man,” the account wrote again, replying to the actor she falsely impersonated.
Paevey replied: “Never.”
The account even took Paevey’s own tweets and reshared them word for word, writing, “Twitter has always been a dumpster fire. None of the social platforms care about impersonation… I still block and report but basically it’s just screaming into the void. I’m damn tired.”
Paevey wrote the note on November 12th and the impersonator account shared it just a few hours later.
Here is Paevey’s tweet:

And here’s the impersonator account sharing the exact same message just hours later:

One fan wrote to Paevey: “Deplorable people. Sorry your talents are being ripped off, Ryan.”
Paevey replied: “All the time. It’s funny, the region of origin changes and I started trying to figure out where they come from based on the bad English they speak haha. Recently, most IP addresses show Nigeria. Who knew I had made it there? 😂🤷🏽♂️”
Unfortunately, at the time of publishing this article, the account was still active on
