HGTV’s “Rock the Block” stars are one big, happy family. The network announced in October 2023 that the hit competitive series would return in March 2024, with four returning teams looking for a chance at redemption. Since the news broke, the cast has been taking to social media to share behind-the-scenes moments from filming, which is underway in Treasure Island, Florida.

Contestants include Page Turner and Mitch Glew (“Fix My Flip”) and Bryan and Sarah Baeumler (“Renovation Island”) from season four, as well as Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas (“Bargain Block”) and Lyndsay Lamb from season three Leslie Davis (“Unsellable Houses”).

In a Nov. 7 Instagram post, Turner congratulated her competitors Bynum and Thomas, as their “Bargain Block” finale had just aired during “Rock the Block” filming.

Page Turner is showing love for her Rock the Block competition

Turner wrote in the caption of her post: “CONGRATULATIONS✨ to @keithbynum_ and @emuralit on completing their third season of #BargainBlock – It’s not easy getting your show on the air WHILE watching another show as intense as Rock the Block turns, that also applies to ¡Salud!” my friends!!”

Turner’s post included a video of her expressing the same sentiment in front of the entire Rock the Block cast during downtime on set. She added in the video: “We know how much hard work this is. [The Baeumlers] still filming [a series]. It’s crazy to be on the ‘block’ while your own show is still on.”

Bynum and Thomas appreciated the sweet words, with Bynum re-sharing Turner’s post on his Instagram Story and writing, “@pageturnerunlimited is the sweetest.”

Turner also took a moment to share her love with all the other teams, adding in her caption, “If there was ever a large group of teams competing for a coveted street sign, I’ll be there for seven weeks had to wear the same outfit – It would be these amazing people that make me burst into tears 🤣🤣”.

Castmates and fans took to the comments section to react to the sweet moment, with Bynum adding, “You’re such a doll! I’m really excited to finally be able to work with you!!!”

“I love working with you and the rest of the herd on the block! ❤️,” commented Sarah Baeumler.

“Congratulations!!!🔥,” “Rock the Block” host Ty Pennington added.

Dave and Jenny Marrs help with Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas’ latest renovation

On the Nov. 1 “Bargain Block” finale that Turner was referring to, Bynum and Thomas enlisted the help of HGTV colleagues Dave and Jenny Marrs (and their Season 3 competitors on “Rock the Block”). Bynum and Thomas were working on an Italian-inspired renovation, and since the Marrs are currently in the process of restoring a century-old Italian villa for their miniseries Fixer to Fabulous: Italiano, they were the perfect people to help with the task.

As a result, the Marrs couple helped build an extractor hood for the kitchen stove using olive wood slats, and Jenny helped choose the color of the kitchen cabinets. She recommended an olive green to coordinate with the wood accents on the hood and the tiles in the backsplash.
