Former Dancing With the Stars pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy has revealed who he thinks will advance to the season 32 finale.

“So you have to look at things from a bird’s eye view, and I see that Daniella and Jason Mraz are doing great,” Chmerkovskiy told The US Sun. “I see Val and Xochitl are doing great. I think Artem is doing a great job at Charity,” he continued.

Ultimately, however, Chmerkovskiy believes it will come down to two people. “It will be between Jason Mraz and Xochitl,” he predicted. Mraz is partnered with Daniella Karagach and Xochitl Gomez is partnered with Chmerkovskiy’s younger brother Val Chmerkovskiy.

Maks Chmerkovskiy doesn’t think Barry Williams or Ariana Madix will win the Mirrorball Trophy

There are a few people Chmerkovskiy doesn’t think will make it to the finals, and those are Barry Williams and Ariana Madix, the latter dancing with Pasha Pashkov.

“I’m just not going to be the guy to predict longevity because I can already point out some things that someone like Ariana may or may not lack in the long run [situation]Chmerkovskiy told the outlet. According to Chmerkovskiy, despite being a frontrunner, Madix simply doesn’t have what it takes to make it to the end.

And she’s not the only one. Despite Williams winning our hearts week after week, Chmerkovskiy doesn’t think the Brady Bunch star will be crowned the winner of season 32.

“I just don’t think Peta and Barry are winners,” he told The US Sun. “I think they are winners in my opinion. Every time they come out and put on a performance, it’s a win. “He’s doing great compared to an 18-year-old who has no physical or other limitations,” he added.

Interestingly, Chmerkovskiy told Heavy before the season began that he felt Williams was the “dark horse” of the competition.

“I think the dark horse in the competition – if you put your money on someone and you feel like really going for that payout? I think Barry and Peta are the couple,” he said.

Maks Chmerkovskiy said he has moved on from “Dancing With the Stars.”

Chmerkovskiy is a big fan of “Dancing With the Stars” and often watches his family compete from the sidelines, but he has no desire to ever return to the ballroom.

“This is a great show, great group of people. You know, look. If there’s a Mount Rushmore of this thing, “Dancing With the Stars,” then I’ll probably be there a few times. But I feel like we wrote a book back then about how to do Dancing With the Stars. And you know, I’m that fan. I’m a fan of the original version. Like it was. The way everyone fell in love with the show,” Chmerkovskiy told Heavy in October 2023.

“I have no plans to be part of the show. Still, I’m always part of the show,” he said, naming his wife, brother and sister-in-law. “I am there with my children and support our family,” he added.

However, Chmerkovskiy returned to the ballroom in October 2023 to pay a very special tribute to Len Goodman, who passed away in April.
