First, all the photos you want to edit must be uploaded to Google Photos. Google uses the cloud to organize images based on your needs. So, to get started, make sure that Google Photos backup is turned on. From there, the steps are simple.
- Open the photo you want to edit in the gallery via the camera app or the Google Photos app.
- Click Edit.
- A glowing Magic Editor button will appear on the left side of the tool above the cancel button. Click this button.
From here, there are two main things you can do. To start, click on the wand tool in the bottom center of the image. When you press the button, you will be presented with the options available in the image. You can add pictures, similar to what you can do with the iPhone 15 Pro.

If you want to know what it would look like to take a selfie in front of a nuclear explosion, you can change the atmosphere (if there is a sky visible in the picture) or change the scene to a photo. It all depends on what is found in the exhibition. Sometimes, you will find only one option, or the magic tool is not available at all. It really depends on what’s going on.
