Using another account is one of the fastest ways to find out if someone has blocked you, especially if you follow them on another account. According to Instagram, you can have five accounts on your device, and that’s enough to have another way to check and see if someone has blocked you on the platform. If you don’t want to create a new account, you can ask a friend to do the magic for you.
Follow these steps to use a second account and see if you’ve been banned.
1. Log out of your primary account.
2. Log in to your second Instagram account. If you don’t have one, it might be a good idea to ask a trusted friend if you can use their account, or they can look it up for you.
3. Type the name of the person you suspect blocked you, and click or tap the search icon.
4. Evaluate the results.
If you can see their posts and profile from another account, but not from your first account, then they have blocked you. If the view on another account is the same as your first account, they may have closed their account or changed their privacy settings.
