Harry Redknapp has revealed his Premier League title prediction as Manchester City and Manchester United chase current leaders Arsenal.

The Gunners have not won the league since 2004 but are in a strong position to end that drought, five points ahead of Man City and eight points ahead of Man United with one game left to play against both clubs.

Mikel Arteta’s side have amassed 50 points from 20 league games and suffered just their second loss of the season last weekend when they were beaten by Everton.

Manchester City have won four of their last five league titles, but things are not going well at the Etihad. Pep Guardiola’s team dropped points seven times this season, losing to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

Manchester United are making real progress under Erik ten Hag, but their eyes could be on the top four and the League Cup final as they will be 11 points behind Arsenal if they win their game hand in hand.

Former Premier League manager Redknapp is impressed by ‘fantastic’ Arsenal, but still expects Manchester City to ‘pip’ the Gunners to the title.

Redknapp said on the Mennie Talks podcast: ‘Arsenal are playing fantastic football. The football they play and the team looks so well balanced.

“Two great wingers in it [Bukayo] Sake and [Gabriel] Martinelli, they are strong in midfield – [Martin] Odegaard looks like a real player, I like the way he plays, he’s just class. And in the back they look solid, Ramsdale is good.

“I don’t know though, I still feel Man City are going to win, I think they will rally and beat Arsenal. But it will be tight.

‘Arsenal will catch some, but the one team you don’t want to chase is Man City!

“If it was someone else chasing them, I’d say, ‘Yeah, fine,’ but Man City are so dangerous. Just look at their bench.

‘[Ruben] Slides and [Phil] Foden didn’t get a game and they would face any other team in the Premier League.

“The changes that Pep Guardiola can make all over the pitch are just ridiculous. While I think if Arsenal get a few injuries it will be a big problem for them.
