Thanksgiving is just around the corner, but HGTV star Erin Napier is kicking off the festivities early. The “Home Town” host shared a behind-the-scenes shot of herself, her husband/co-host Ben Napier and some of their crew members sharing a snack from the trunk of a car between takes.
“An exclusive behind-the-scenes look: a casual little Friends Giving meal from the #HGTVHomeTown crew featuring buttery crackers and crispy honey apples with a side of spray cheese #foodie,” Erin captioned her Nov. 18 post with the clip.
After adding some canned cheese to her cracker, Erin spread some on an apple for one of her crew members and then again for Ben. When someone off-camera asked, “What’s going on over there?” Erin quickly replied, “Thanksgiving. That’s what the pilgrims did.”

“If you haven’t eaten that canned cheese in years and you try it later in life, it’s totally gross. 🤢,” one user wrote.
“Spray cheese is the best!! Have you ever tried filling bugles with piped cheese? The ultimate party appetizer 😂 🤌🏼,” responded one spray cheese supporter.
“Ahhh, classic! Plain cheese elevates everything 🧀 😅 I hope you had a great time celebrating gratitude with the crew! ♥️,” another fan added.
“I always had a box of these crackers and a can of EZ Cheese in my locker in HS!” a fourth fan added.

Fans looking forward to new episodes of Home Town won’t have to wait much longer, as the network confirmed in a November 2023 press release that the series will return with the second part of its seventh season on Sunday, January 7th will, 2024, at 8 p.m. Eastern.
Additionally, a one-time special, “Home Town Holidays,” will air on the network on Sunday, December 17 at 8 p.m. Eastern Time. As part of the Christmas special, Ben and Erin return to previous homeowners they worked with on the series to gift them special handmade items.
Erin Napier shares Ben Napier’s sleeping habits
Producing a full season of Home Town can be stressful work, and in a Nov. 16 Instagram post, Erin shared a glimpse into an interesting sleep habit her husband has.
“I want you to know that @scotsman.co holds furniture when he sleeps. Bedside tables, lamps, chairs, bedposts. Whatever he can achieve when he falls asleep. I love this weirdo,” Erin captioned her post, which featured a photo of Ben passed out in an armchair, holding onto the nearby lamp.
Erin’s mother, Karen Rasberry, chimed in in the comments section, noting, “As I mentioned [Erin’s latest book] “Heirloom Rooms,” this chair has been putting people to sleep for decades – especially Ben.”
