It looks like we’re about to witness a breakdown of dates on the Marvel Cinematic Universe roaster again as the studio is busy rolling out a new map due to the delays caused by Hollywood. Although we already know that Deadpool 3 has lost its May 3, 2024 release date and has not been given another one yet, there are new updates online that suggest that there may be more problems with the calendar. The first to be affected is Captain America: Brave New World, aka Captain America 4.
Captain America 4 is one of the most anticipated movies as it is set to introduce Anthony Mackie as Captain in the long-running series. He joined his new role in The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, a Disney+ series. The movie has gone through a single release date change and a title change already, and it looks like there is yet another store.
A recent report now suggests that the loss of Deadpool 3 could be beneficial for Captain America: Brave New World as it could help the latter to return to its release date. Read on to find out everything you need to know about this exciting change of date.
If you don’t know, Captain America: Brave New World, also known as Captain America 4, was originally supposed to be released on May 3, 2024. After a change in title, it was announced that the film was pushed back two months to now be released on July 26, 2024. Deadpool 3 took the place May. As per Direct, now that the May 3 window is no longer available, there is a strong possibility that star actor Anthony Mackie will move his original date and release two months before the latest date.
While Deadpool 3 only finished shooting for two months when the Hollywood strike put things on hold, Captain America 4 has already completed its three-month schedule at the end of June. This makes Brave New World a post-production success because most of the photography has already been done.
