As we said before, not having the latest versions of the app in question and the taste of the Android phone can cause the apps to behave incorrectly. To make sure the app is the latest, search for it in the Google Play Store, or, to be 100% sure it’s the right app:
- Open the Settings app.
- Click Applications.
- Scroll through the list of programs until you find the problem program, then click its name.
- Scroll down to App Details in the store and click on it.
Once on the app’s page in the Google Play Store, it will tell you if there are updates available. If it is available, click Update and exit from there. To check if your system updates are where they should be, for now:
- Open the Settings app.
- Scroll down and click About Phone.
- Click View Updates. If the Update button appears, click it and follow the instructions.
If the manufacturer of your device has different settings menus, like Samsung does, there may be a way to change the Apps in the main options.
